Accountability Is Key!

Accountability is the key to success, it is not a weakness to be held to account, but a method to help you achieve the fitness and nutrition goals you have set yourself. You may choose to be accountable to a group, to a Personal Trainer, a friend or partner. Picking the right person or method is key to your success, if you do not respect that individual or group enough then you will not feel you have an obligation or willingness to commit to the process.
When you work towards goals yourself, on your own with no accountability, you can cheat, bend the rules and lie to yourself. If you have accountability to someone else, you have to be responsible for your actions, they have a consequence. You cannot cheat or bend the rules as you would need to explain yourself and face up to your actions and the fact you may not get the results you want.
We have accountability at work, a boss or a deadline for a client, however with health goals we go it alone, thinking we can achieve the outcome we want with no accountability at all. It doesn’t have to be serious! Accountability can be fun and inspiring with group training, personal training, online groups and programmes designed to support you.
Teamwork, sharing success stories, banter, camaraderie, advice and encouragement to help you take each step towards your health goals with positive actions.
So, find a group near you, a friend or partner, a good personal trainer or online coach (cough* cough*) and get ready to rumble! You can achieve your goals, you just need some support to get there ;)
