Jen Is Back On The Bike!
I originally contacted Fay to help me with a training plan for MTB Enduro racing and general fitness on a bike. With Fay’s help we realised I needed to focus on my nutrition and health first, before turning to full training. I have IBS and Interstitial Cystitis and a digestive system that is in serious trouble! As well as racing, I am also a mountain bike guide and I own a bike shop. Being fit and staying strong is a big part of my life, but my health has been holding me back.
Fay listened to my really specific needs and created an awesome 12 week nutrition plan for me, packed full with information and links to further research. We then turned to a 28 day juice fast, which without Fay’s support, I definitely would not have been able to complete! During the 28 days I only consumed juice. I’m not going to lie, it was tough but wow was it worth it! Before the juice fast my tummy used to swell up making me look 5 months pregnant, pretty much all of the time. Whaa! After the juice fast it has reduced by 70%. I felt healthier and looked so much better. Every time Fay checked in on me she gave me so much support, she tweaked the juice plan lots of times to suit me and my progress. She was there for me every day and I knew it. As a result I managed a bike packing adventure towards the end of the 28 days. Fay’s support and energy to improve my health has been immense.
Because of her my health has improved a great deal and I am finally heading in the right direction. Her energy is infectious, she responds to messages super quick and always keeps me strong when I need that extra support. We are still working on my health, and I can’t wait for the day when I can start her training plan and get back to racing and big mountain adventures 😊
