Vikki Loves A Challenge!
I can't recommend Fay Jordan highly enough! Exercising has never been my strong point, and being a busy mum to 3 kids I found it difficult to schedule that time into my life. I decided that my 40th year was the time to start getting fitter and found I enjoyed the weekly sessions Fay built into my monthly plan. Each week has a mix of aerobic endurance, strength and conditioning, and mobility and flexibility routines. I have since walked the Illuminator, run the Balmoral 10k and recently the Banchory 10k. They were all tough and I have a long way to go, but I'm enjoying getting active and setting myself goals.
Fay is so approachable and can help you succeed with any goal, she always goes above and beyond with her support - especially when answering my daft questions! The Trail Tribe sessions in Aboyne are also fantastic. A lovely bunch of people, a great workout and a good laugh. A winning combination really.
In May, Fay helped me complete an elimination diet with sound nutritional advice and informative blog posts on the process and what I might experience. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I expected it to be, and has made me much more aware about my food choices and combinations.
I'm looking forward to achieving a few more events this year, but my ultimate goal is to run a 10k in under an hour. I do love a challenge!
