The Tribe Is Growing!
The tribe is growing, Trail Tribe is now running 6 sessions every week! The best thing is, everybody that comes to join a session is so much fun, gives every session everything they have and work as a team to help each other achieve!
On Monday nights we train in Kirkhill Forest right next to the airport and close to Aberdeen. The forest, whilst close to the city is a little haven to escape from the busy city life into the great outdoors! After a great session boxing in the forest this week, we even got a mountain bike ride in after the session!
Tuesday’s sessions take place in the original forest Scolty Forest in Banchory. A popular venue, we mix up each session and explore different parts of the forest whilst introducing different exercises using natures playground.
Wednesday night is Aboyne Green. Home of the original highland games! Whilst we don’t toss the caber (not just yet anyway) we do use the green as the perfect setting for some circuit training and partner workouts.
Thursday’s we return to Banchory and after we received permission for our final venue, we ran the first Trail Tribe in Bellfield Park. Another super setting for the Tribe to do some circuit training and team workouts.
Each weekend we descend on the Scolty Forest on a Sunday morning. When everybody else is eating their bacon and eggs we are out in the forest working towards our health and fitness goals. The sessions are as much about the social catch up as they are about the fitness training. Once everybody has met up, we work together to achieve the aim of the session! From the 3rd June we will also introduce a session for the teenagers! Teen Tribe! Getting out in the forest to run, jump and laugh! Making fitness fun and learning essential team building skills that will help throughout life.
